Safety Audits/Inspections
- Quarterly SBD OH&S Systems and Equipment Audit (Independent)
- 1000hrs (or 6-months) Drill Rig Mechanical Inspection
- Monthly Rig Safety Inspection
- Weekly Vehicle Inspections
- Daily Pre-start Checks
SBD recently passed the Rio Tinto pre qualification audit process scoring 70% first time around with the mean average for this audit being 60-65%.
Training is a major priority at SBD. Following suitability assessment, all our field staff are put through a pre employment medical, drug screen and mine workers health surveillance certificate prior to commencement of their employment.
For clients with site specific Safety and Training requirements; SBD will work with them to ensure all SBD staff receive the necessary accreditations to ensure Contract compliance.
